Staff Spotlight: Hope Alley

Staff Spotlight: Hope Alley

Hope is joining our team as our 2021 summer intern. She will be working with Development and Marketing assisting with our social media, donor management system and various campaign and event tasks.

She is joining us from UC Berkeley where she is an intended Business Administration major/Spanish minor. Hope is also a student-athlete at Cal, playing short-stop for the Golden Bears softball team.

Hope was drawn to Cope because of her passion for racial equity. Hope tells us that “while taking various minority studies classes at UC Berkeley, I learned that issues such as child abuse disproportionately affect minority groups. As a result, organizations, such as Cope, are essential to the formation of racial equity in our nation. Supplying families with the resources they need to better their lives/circumstances empowers them to create a better future for themselves and future generations. Cope is a great example for others to follow, and I am more than grateful to be a part of such an amazing organization.”

Welcome aboard Hope! We are excited to have you as a part of the Cope family.

We thank Gasser Foundation for making this internship opportunity possible!
