Tribute Gifts
A donation to Cope is a impactful way to pay tribute to a loved one. Gifts may be made in honor or in memory of someone special or to commemorate a special occasion. If desired, we will notify the honoree of your thoughtful gift.
Gifts of Goods or Services
We welcome donations of formula, wipes and diapers which we distribute to families in need. Some of the most frequently needed items can be found on our Amazon wish list here. Donated gift cards are also appreciated. Gift cards for stores such as WalMart or Target, grocery stores or gas cards are especially needed. Items may be dropped off without an appointment Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00, at 707 Randolph Street in downtown Napa.
We rely on donations for our fundraising events. Popular auction lots include wine, travel, unique experiences, art and professional services. For information about donating an item for our silent or live auction, please contact sjensen@copefamilycenter.org or 707.252.1123x108.
Due to storage limitations, we are generally unable to accept donations of toys, clothing, furniture, etc. At times, specific needs may arise and we may periodically request specific items. To inquire about donating items, please contact us at 707.252.1123.
Matching Gifts
Double or triple the impact of your gift! Many companies have a matching gift program that matches part or all of their employee’s gifts to charities. Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your company offers a matching gift program.
Workplace Giving
Designate Cope Family Center through your workplace giving campaign, whether via United Way or your company's own campaign. Current workplace giving partners include PG&E, Umpqua Bank and United Way. Ask your employer about participating!
Gifts of Securities
Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds and mutual funds. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to increase your gift and your tax deduction.
Legacy Giving
By remembering Cope in your estate plans, you can help ensure that our work continues well beyond your years. Many donors find that through bequests, they are able to make a significant philanthropic commitment more comfortably than doing so during their lifetimes. There are a variety of estate planning tools that provide significant tax benefits during your lifetime and help your estate avoid costly taxes.
Other Ways to Give
In addition to making a one-time, recurring or planned gift, there are many ways to support our mission, including business giving, hosting a fundraiser, and volunteering.
Cope Family Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Our Tax ID number is 94-2322399.
