Fall Newsletter from Cope

A Note from our Executive Director

I am so proud of our community, Cope’s staff and volunteers and the families we served during the recent Napa complex Fires. While the last month has brought numerous struggles to our community, the generosity, resilience and caring we’ve experienced in response is overwhelming.

Helping families manage crises and recover from trauma is Cope’s daily work, whether offering crisis intervention, parent education or family support services. So when called upon to assist with fire response efforts our staff was there despite the fact that they, like all of us, were impacted by the disaster.

Over a month later, we continue to support families as our community recovers from the fires: providing a compassionate shoulder to cry on, a smiling face for children displaced from their homes and access to crucial emergency aid grants to help them return to some semblance of normal.

With your generous support, we will be able to continue serving families facing difficult times, whether everyday parenting struggles or emergencies like the fires.

Please consider making a donation today to help provide parents with the education, resources and support they need to raise children who thrive.

With appreciation,
Michele Grupe, Executive Director

We Give Thanks to our Volunteers!

On behalf of everyone at Cope Family Center, we want to thank all of the volunteers who have helped in our fire relief and recovery efforts. Together you have contributed over 900 hours of work to our community welcoming and assisting individuals and families who have been impacted by the fires. This would not be possible without your hard work and dedication and we are forever grateful to you.
