Help connect struggling parents with the support they need to keep their kids healthy and safe.

Every April, Cope Family Center highlights Blue Ribbon Month to bring awareness to the issue of child maltreatment and raise funds to support families and keep children safe. In 2023, there were 109 confirmed victims of child maltreatment in our community. Sadly, the true number of victims is likely closer to 400 because abuse and neglect are greatly under reported.

One child suffering is one child too many. Thankfully, we can all play a role in keeping children safe.

Your gift will:

  • help parents meet their children’s most basic needs with grocery gift cards so their kids don’t go hungry.

  • give parents a safe place to turn to when they are in crisis and connect them with housing, mental health care and other resources so their children aren’t impacted.

  • fund child abuse prevention training so adults in our community learn how to identify abuse and know how to report it, so children are protected.

  • teach parents how to manage their parenting challenges in a positive
way so they can break the cycle of abuse.
