kids day is back: cope’s beloved family-fun event returns in april
Cope Family Center is bringing back Kids Day, a favorite community-wide event, for the second year in a row. This free family-fun event was held annually from 2001-2013 and was revived last year after a nine-year hiatus. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 11:00am-3:00pm at Oxbow Commons Park on McKinstry Street. There will be resources for parents, activities and games for children, food, music, entertainment, and live performances.
“After the success of last year’s event, we are excited to be hosting Kids Day again. Because of the additional stressors placed on families this past year, we want to provide a free, fun event that every family in our community can enjoy,” said Executive Director Michele Grupe. “This will be a great opportunity for families to connect with resources while enjoying food, performances, and fun activities with their kids. All families in Napa County are encouraged to join us!”
Kids Day is co-sponsored by Pacific Gas and Electric Corporation and the City of Napa. For more information about Kids Day, click here.
