Online

Enjoy the convenience of giving to Cope Family Center through our secure online donation site. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all accepted.

Honorariums & Memorials

What to give that someone special who has everything? Give a birthday or anniversary gift to Cope Family Center in their honor. They will receive a lovely recognition card to acknowledge your thoughtfulness.

Memorial gifts are a beautiful way to remember a loved one. The deceased's family will receive a card to let them know of your generosity.

You may make honorarium or memorial gifts either via mail or online.

Pledges & Recurring Donations

If you prefer to pledge to make a recurring gift (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually), you have the option of using Cope Family Center's automatic payment processing system. Just contact Mandy Page at 707.252.1123 x 114 for details.

Giving Clubs

Cope Family Center offers two Giving Clubs: The Family Circle , for individual and family donors; and Community Circle , for donor businesses and organizations. By joining the Family Circle or Community Circle with an annual minimum donation, you help to ensure the ongoing availability of services for families in our community.

Contact Liz Marks at 707.252.1123 x 108 for more information.

In-Kind Gifts

Diapers and infant formula are vital to our Safety Net program, so donations of these items are always welcome. If you have other new or gently used items you are interested in donating (clothing, toys, books, furniture, etc.), please call first before dropping them off! Unfortunately, as we have no storage or distribution space for these items, we cannot accept them unless we have families in immediate need of those items at the time they are available.

If you wish to donate items right away, we suggest the following organizations:

Community Projects provides grants to organizations throughout Napa, including Cope Family Center, from sales of clothing, toys, household items and more at their Thrift Shop.

Other Ways to Give

Workplace Giving

Corporate Matching Gifts

Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company has a matching gift program. You donation to Cope Family Center may be matched by your employer after the gift is made and the proper paperwork completed - effectively doubling your donation!

Special Events

Cope Family Center hosts a number of events for our clients, as well as fundraisers to support our essential services. To learn more about corporate underwriting opportunities or to find out how you can get involved in our special events, please contact Michele Grupe at 707.252.1123 x 115.

Gifts of Stock

Making a gift or fulfilling a pledge through a transfer of stock is often very advantageous from a tax point of view, especially if you own appreciated stocks. By making a gift of stock directly to a charitable organization like Cope Family Center, you can avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the stocks, and also realize an income tax deduction in the amount of the stock's fair market value on the date of the gift. Each individual's tax situation is different, so please contact a tax advisor about the best way to make a charitable gift. For more information about the process, contact us.

Families First Planned Giving

Charitable estate planning is a "win-win" for donors and nonprofits. Donors get the satisfaction of taking care of their families first, while making lasting contributions made from estate assets and tax savings rather than current income. Nonprofits like Cope Family Center get a more predictable, longer term source of funds to support their operating budgets.

To find out how you can have a personal, confidential Families First estate plan developed around your unique goals and needs, please contact Michele Grupe at 707.252.1123 x 115.

Bequests

Leave a legacy for your community! All bequests large and small make a difference. If you've already included Cope in your estate plans, please let us know so we can acknowledge your generosity.

Gifts of Time, Talent and Opportunity

Volunteer

The gifts of time and talent are always appreciated. Cope Family Center offers many ways for you to volunteer; see our Volunteer Opportunities page for inspiration, or contact Talent Management Coordinator Aimee Inglis at 707.252.1123 x 104.
